Bear Fight American Single Malt Whiskey is a bold yet balanced whiskey.

Although still considered a newcomer in the world of single malts, it has already made a name for itself early on and has nothing to hide. Even before its official launch in 2022, its complex aromas impressed international juries—most recently, it was named Best American Single Malt at the International Whisky Competition.

It combines the tradition of Scottish distilling with American innovation, representing a modern, confident style.

Maturation takes place in three different types of casks: first in ex-bourbon casks, then in sherry casks and gently peated casks. This combination gives the whiskey exceptional depth and complexity. The subtle, unobtrusive smokiness harmoniously complements the aromas and ensures a balanced character.

The nose reveals strong cereal notes, honey, apple, and a subtle hint of smoke. On the palate, blackcurrant, honey, pecan, and red apple unfold, forming a round, harmonious combination. Notes of dried fig, sweet cherry, and delicate orange nuances elegantly lead into the finish. There, a subtle smokiness combined with honey ensures a pleasantly sweet, long-lasting finish.

Bear Fight American Single Malt is one of the most award-winning American single malts—and you can taste it in every sip. Despite its powerful name, it is accessible and less robust than the label suggests. This makes it ideal for both whiskey novices and high-quality cocktails.

Bear Fight Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the second "bear" to hit the market in 2024.

Its complex flavor profile impressed international blind tastings shortly after its release: it received double gold at the 2024 SIP Awards and was awarded gold and 95 points at the 2025 New York International Spirits Competition.

Finished in Reposado tequila barrels, this bourbon initially comes across as edgy and combative—very much in keeping with the Bear Fight spirit. But even the first sip reveals that this bear is surprisingly smooth and approachable.

The nose presents strong, spicy notes of a high-rye bourbon, accompanied by aromas of vanilla extract, maple syrup, toasted oak, and a subtle peppery note. On the palate, butterscotch unfolds, along with a harmonious symbiosis of honey notes and light salted caramel. Shortly thereafter, the influence of the Reposado barrels becomes more pronounced: a hint of tequila and subtle smoke elegantly lead into the finish. This is concise but not aggressive, with notes of butterscotch, honey, and gentle pepper heralding a full-bodied and long-lasting finish.

Bear Fight Orchard & Vine Bourbon adds a fruity, elegant facet to the Bear Fight range.

This bottling combines the distinctive style of a Kentucky bourbon with exceptional barrel aging, creating a balance of depth, fruitiness, and accessibility.

Orchard & Vine Bourbon is finished in barrels that previously held Calvados—a French apple and pear brandy—and port wine. This combination gives the whiskey a complex aroma, in which fruity notes and warm spices harmoniously complement the typical Bear Fight character. The result is a bourbon that appeals to whisky enthusiasts and is also ideal for relaxed moments of enjoyment.

On the nose, Orchard & Vine Bourbon is comparatively light and inviting. Dark, dried fruits and ripe cherries meet a deep, sweet base. Hints of licorice, molasses, and syrupy sweetness lend the bouquet additional depth and warmth.

On the palate, the whiskey initially appears light and smooth, before a subtle spiciness of black pepper emerges. Roasted barrel notes combine with dark cherry and a subtle sweetness typical of port wine. As it develops, a gently oily mouthfeel emerges, elegantly carrying the aromas without weighing them down.

The finish is medium to long and pleasantly warming. Dark butterscotch, hints of pecan pie, and a subtle, almost bittersweet note ensure a balanced and lasting finish.
